New Thai NSW system is now linked with a customs and customs is enforcing “open-and-check” policy to ensure proper licensing and the quality of the product that imported to Thailand.

TISI implemented new e-License system to import the industrial products for sale in Thailand. It is supposed to simplify application process, however, new system involves 8 steps compared to 3 steps in the past and we expect this process to become more challenging for importers. Thailand implemented temporary factory licenses due to COVID-19 lockdown in many countries, we expect licensing agencies will require all manufacturing facilities abroad to obtain permanent licenses, since most countries are getting opened for inspection.

Last, but not least, TIS mark now required to be shown with the printed QR code linked to e-License quality control system.
