To obtain import license under new regulation the requirement is:
- Conduct the lab test for each device you want to import (this will take around 2-3 months)
- Complete factory audit
When both reports are ready, importer could apply for a Thai import license. Please keep in mind that after 21 December 2022, all current licenses will be invalid and for import purposes, you will be required to have a new TIS.62368 license.
Latest update: due to most of Mainland China being still in lock-down, TISI now offer 1 year license extension for Audio and Video equipment. If you already have a license for this group of products, you could obtain a letter from TISI, giving you extension for another year, instead of going through the new TISI licensing process.
